Hopscotch and Hare

Illustrated still life of a seagull in sunglasses on a stack of books, tarot cards on a dark cloth, a checked mug of tea, a jester's hat and a vase of flowers

A home for play, curiosity and creative connection

Hello ๐Ÿ‡

I’m Becky. Hopscotch and Hare is where I bring together tarot, gatherings, coaching and the occasional detour into the wonderfully peculiar.

It’s built on a simple idea: play and curiosity can help us approach even serious things a little differently.

How I read tarot

I use tarot as a tool for reflection and storytelling, not fortune-telling. The cards don’t decide anything for you. They offer pictures, prompts and a fresh angle on whatever you bring to the table.

Expect questions rather than pronouncements, some reflection, and probably a laugh. My job is to help you notice what stirs, what surprises you and what you might want to do next.

I’m a member of the Tarot Association of the British Isles (TABI) and follow its code of ethics. I don’t give health, legal, financial or pregnancy predictions, and no card is ever a warning or a doom.

Tarot After Dark โœจ

An evening of cards, candlelight and conversation with my friend Sam, a professional reader. It’s social, a little witchy, and raises donations for Mind Monmouthshire.

When: Sunday 15 November 2026
Where: Her Peaceful Place
In aid of: Mind Monmouthshire

The wider world

Alongside the cards, Hopscotch and Hare offers:

  • Circles and gatherings: gentle, unhurried women’s circles to pause, connect and reflect together
  • Coaching and Lumina profiling: exploring how you work and what matters to you. I’m also an IPHM-certified Practical Magic facilitator, trained with Kate Taylor
  • Facilitation and workshops: for charities, social enterprises and curious teams

Tell me how it landed

Had a reading with me? I’d love to hear how it felt. Four quick questions, all optional. You can read how I use your information in my ethics and terms.
