This policy explains what information I collect through this website, why, and what I do with it. I’ve kept it short and plain.
Who I am
This website is run by me, Becky Lythgoe. I’m responsible for any personal information you share here. You can contact me at hello@beckylythgoe.uk.
What I collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message.
- Reading feedback form: your answers, and your email address if you choose to leave it.
- Wonder Kiosk “Share a thought” form: the character you asked, your ticket, your thought, your first name if you give it, and whether you’re happy for your thought to be shared.
- Emails you send me: whatever you include in them.
I don’t ask for sensitive information through these forms. Please don’t include anything you’d rather keep private.
How I use it
- To reply to your message or enquiry.
- To learn from feedback and improve my readings, sessions and events.
- If you’ve asked to hear about future readings or gatherings, to email you about them. You can ask me to stop at any time.
- If you’ve ticked the box on the Wonder Kiosk form, to share your thought on my blog or Instagram, without your name. If you change your mind, tell me and I’ll take it down.
I rely on your consent for updates about future events and for sharing your Wonder Kiosk thoughts, and on my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me and improving my work.
Who else sees it
I don’t sell or share your information. This site is hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic), which stores form submissions and sets some cookies to run the site and count visits. You can read their privacy policy and cookie policy.
How long I keep it
I keep messages and feedback only as long as I need them. If you’ve asked to hear about future events, I’ll keep your email until you ask me to remove it.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or to stop using it. Just email hello@beckylythgoe.uk.
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though I’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
I’ll update this page if anything changes. Last updated: October 2026.
